Sunday sketch and stamp

Hello out there.... I hope everyone is feeling good... It's almost Halloween and I love it.... Unfortunately my kids won't dress up for trick or treating any more.... Can't blame em really, boys of 18 and 14 are way too cool for that!!!;-)
Anyway to go with the Halloween feeling, my crafting has been skeletons and grunge.... So I decided to follow this with a grungy looking card.
I used inktense blocks and a baby wipe to start the background then topped it with a couple of sheena's ageing beautifully stamps and a walnut stain distress ink. Then I cut a circle using my grand caliber and spellbinders which I darkened with the same ink. Sheena's magical potion bottles and sentiment were stamped using black archival and coloured with water colour pencils. A couple of prices of twine and some gold card came next. Finally an orange piece of card edged with the inktense blocks again and the crackle stamp. Hope you like it x

Autumn

I always thought if autumn colours as browns until I walked out of the front door and saw a bright red leaf on the path in front of me.... So red was my first choice of colour for this weeks project.
I stamped a sheena Douglas leaf stamp in red, orange and brown distress inks onto an 8x8 card blank and also some onto Splodgeaway elegance card. The background ones I used a water brush to bleed out the colour and the cut out ones I used my Splodgeaway 8x8 mat as a palette and some water colour paints.
The centrepiece was again using the elegance card, distress inks ( red, brown and a bit of yellow) and my Splodgeaway 12x12 mat to blend. I used the leaf mask and a green ink for the leaves. I drew round the Splodgeaway flower mask...3 different sizes, and formed the 3d flowers. A sentiment, some gold mirri card and some glass beads finished off the card.

Hope u like it x
